Mission:
The mission of the FAB 101 class is to educate and expose students to professional development tools that will better prepare them to succeed in the classroom and as future professionals. The custom-designed curriculum is a holistic approach to understanding oneself, the value of education, career options and achievement strategies.

Interdisciplinary Approach:
The FAB 101 course is an interdisciplinary supplement to existing core classes, such as Humanities. Topics discussed in the FAB course will provide a hands-on learning approach in which students will be challenged to think beyond the classroom and apply real-world knowledge and personal experiences to their textbook curriculum. As a result, students will have a greater understanding of how core subjects directly impact their future. The goal is to create a new sense of accountability and motivation by helping students apply a comprehensive learning style that incorporates all elements of their educational experience.
